In conjunction with the 140th Annual Quapaw Pow-Wow and Health Fair, the St. John’s Mercy Mammography bus will be here on July 6th!!!!!!! The purpose of this event is to inform tribal members, tribal employees, friends and family about the 2nd leading cause of cancer death among American women. The St. John’s Mercy Mammography unit will be available for on-site mammograms. Mammography Participants should be at least age 35 for a screening mammogram. If participant DOES have a breast problem or issue, they will be referred on to another healthcare provider for a diagnostic mammogram. This includes implants. Advanced appointments are preferred.
